Their support led to his role as Project Manager for the Mechanical and Fire Protection design of the 76-story Columbia Center from 1983 through its completion in 1985 — a formative achievement that directly preceded the founding of Abossein Engineering. The firm also remembers with deep appreciation architect colleagues and dear friends Chris Simons, Paul Brenna, John Strobel, and Greg Allwine, whose confidence, collaboration, encouragement, and trust helped shape the firm’s trajectory and spirit of practice.
