Certificates Awarded to Participants of the First Cohort of the “Avicenna: Healthcare” Program

A certificate awarding ceremony was held for participants of the first cohort of the Avicenna: Healthcare program, implemented by KazAID. Certificates were presented by Mr. Arken Arystanov, Chairman of KazAID, and Mr. Fuat Erdogmus, Coordinator of the Turkish Cooperation and Coordination Agency (TIKA) in Kazakhstan.
The Avicenna: Healthcare program is designed to train medical university students from Central Asia in Kazakhstan. The first cohort consisted of students from Kyrgyzstan, who received both theoretical and practical training at Astana Medical University, as well as opportunities to exchange experiences with their Kazakhstani peers.
The program included lectures and hands-on sessions in key areas of medicine, along with a cultural component featuring visits to major landmarks in Kazakhstan’s capital.
Training was provided free of charge through a grant from KazAID.
With its advanced approaches to medical education and healthcare, Kazakhstan aims to share its expertise with future professionals in the region, thereby strengthening regional cooperation.
