Efforts of Kenes Rakishev and sportsmen’s dedication brought triumph to Kazakhstan
Asian Boxing Championship among youth and juniors was highly successful for the sportsmen and sportswomen of Kazakhstan. Kenes Rakishev, the head of the Kazakhstan Boxing Federation was present at the event. His presence was necessary not only to support his people but to meet with import people in the boxing world. Kenes Rakishev held a friendly meeting with Anas Alatoiba, the head of the Asian Boxing Confederation.
The President of the Kazakhstan Boxing Federation Kenes Rakishev met with the head of the Asian Boxing Confederation Anas Alatoiba. A friendly event was held in Dubai as part of the Asian Boxing Championship among youth and juniors.
The parties discussed the development of boxing on the continent, stressed the role of supporting the younger generation of athletes and agreed on mutual work in various areas of the CFB and AFB.
The main goal of Kenes Rakishev in the UAE was the personal support of young Kazakhstani masters of leather gloves. The juniors showed a great results in the ring. Today, representatives of young people are fighting for gold medals – the Federation’s leadership hopes that they will win at least as many medals. Awards in almost all weights indicate that boxing in Kazakhstan continues its winning traditions!
Kazakh boxers, girls and boys have won almost all the medals of the Asian Boxing Championship in Dubai.
49 out of 51 possible sets of medals were won by Kazakhstani athletes and sportswomen during the Asian Boxing Championship, which was held in Dubai. Boxers born in 2003-2004 participated in the championship.
Medals that were won:
19 gold medals;
15 silver medals;
15 bronze ones.
According to the results of the fights in 26 weight categories among boys and girls, Kazakhstani young masters won 8 gold, 9 silver and 8 bronze awards!
